Who we are
Richard Chaifetz, Esquire
Mr. Chaifetz is a partner in the law firm of Chaifetz & Coyle, PC. Mr. Chaifetz graduated from Boston College Law School in 1971, where he graduated with Honors and was a member of Law Review. Mr. Chaifetz represents clients in a variety of matter, including foreclosure, real estate, securities, insurance, corporate transactions, personal injury, intellectual property, and general litigation.
Prior to becoming a partner with Chaifetz & Coyle, Mr. Chaifetz was an attorney with the U.S. Department of Justice and was a partner in the law firm of Berkeley, Chaifetz & Nelson.
Michael P. Coyle, Esquire
Mr. Coyle is one of the founding partners of Chaifetz and Coyle. Prior to Chaifetz and Coyle, Mr. Coyle was a law clerk to The Honorable Robert J. Yock. Mr. Coyle then was an attorney with several of the largest and most prominent law firms in the country, before starting his own practice.
Mr. Coyle graduated summa cum laude from The Washington College of Law (American University) in 1994, and was a member of The Law Review. Prior to Law School, Mr. Coyle graduated with a BA in Government from Franklin & Marshall College, Lancaster, PA.
Mr. Coyle’s practice specializes in bankruptcy, foreclosure defense, general litigation, civil rights, and employment discrimination. Mr. Coyle manages the Bankruptcy Department of Chaifetz & Coyle.
Aside from his work, Mr. Coyle is married to Lauren and has two boys – Devin and Brennan. Mr. Coyle is also an avid golfer and rabid Giants fan.

Kenneth L. Bond, Esquire
Kenneth L. Bond is a senior associate in our Foreclosure Defense and Loan Modification practice.
Ken attended Roger Williams University in Bristol Rhode Island and received his J.D. degree in 1999. Prior to law school, Ken graduated from Stockton State College in Pomona New Jersey with a B.S. degree in Chemistry. He is admitted to practice law in the states of Rhode Island, Massachusetts.
Ken has presented seminars at real estate firms and non-profit organizations discussing the loan modification process, bankruptcy and foreclosure prevention techniques. One of his areas of expertise is assisting clients in obtaining loan modifications using both the federally funded “Making Homes Affordable Program” program as well as the internal programs offered by many individual lenders.
Ken is also proficient with estate planning and administration, trust drafting and administration and residential real estate. He advises clients regarding Wills, Health Care Power of Attorney and Trusts including Special Needs Trusts. Ken is an agent for both Chicago Title Insurance Company and Commonwealth Title Insurance. He handles commercial and residential real estate transactions for the firm and is an agent for the Chicago Title Company and CATIC.

Alon J. Nager, Esquire
Mr. Nager is a senior associate in our Bankruptcy and General Litigation practice.
Mr. Nager graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 2003, and was a member of the Pittsburgh Journal of Technology Law and Policy. Mr. Nager is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar and the Maryland Bar, and is admitted to the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. Prior to Law School, Mr. Nager graduated with a BA in Philosophy and Psychology from Binghamton University.
Mr. Nager’s expertise includes the areas of bankruptcy, insolvency, debt settlement, creditor rights, nonprofit law, health law and general legal matters. Mr. Nager manages the Bankruptcy Department of Chaifetz & Coyle.
Mr. Nager is married to Anna and enjoys playing ice hockey and guitar.
