Who we are
Richard Chaifetz, Esquire
Mr. Chaifetz is a partner in the law firm of Chaifetz & Coyle, PC. Mr. Chaifetz graduated from Boston College Law School in 1971, where he graduated with Honors and was a member of Law Review. Mr. Chaifetz represents clients in a variety of matter, including foreclosure, real estate, securities, insurance, corporate transactions, personal injury, intellectual property, and general litigation.
Prior to becoming a partner with Chaifetz & Coyle, Mr. Chaifetz was an attorney with the U.S. Department of Justice and was a partner in the law firm of Berkeley, Chaifetz & Nelson.
Michael P. Coyle, Esquire
Mr. Coyle is one of the founding partners of Chaifetz and Coyle. Prior to Chaifetz and Coyle, Mr. Coyle was a law clerk to The Honorable Robert J. Yock. Mr. Coyle then was an attorney with several of the largest and most prominent law firms in the country, before starting his own practice.
Mr. Coyle graduated summa cum laude from The Washington College of Law (American University) in 1994, and was a member of The Law Review. Prior to Law School, Mr. Coyle graduated with a BA in Government from Franklin & Marshall College, Lancaster, PA.
Mr. Coyle’s practice specializes in bankruptcy, foreclosure defense, general litigation, civil rights, and employment discrimination. Mr. Coyle manages the Bankruptcy Department of Chaifetz & Coyle.
Aside from his work, Mr. Coyle is married to Lauren and has two boys – Devin and Brennan. Mr. Coyle is also an avid golfer and rabid Giants fan.

Kenneth L. Bond, Esquire
Kenneth L. Bond is a senior associate in our Foreclosure Defense and Loan Modification practice.
Ken attended Roger Williams University in Bristol Rhode Island and received his J.D. degree in 1999. Prior to law school, Ken graduated from Stockton State College in Pomona New Jersey with a B.S. degree in Chemistry. He is admitted to practice law in the states of Rhode Island, Massachusetts.
Ken has presented seminars at real estate firms and non-profit organizations discussing the loan modification process, bankruptcy and foreclosure prevention techniques. One of his areas of expertise is assisting clients in obtaining loan modifications using both the federally funded “Making Homes Affordable Program” program as well as the internal programs offered by many individual lenders.
Ken is also proficient with estate planning and administration, trust drafting and administration and residential real estate. He advises clients regarding Wills, Health Care Power of Attorney and Trusts including Special Needs Trusts. Ken is an agent for both Chicago Title Insurance Company and Commonwealth Title Insurance. He handles commercial and residential real estate transactions for the firm and is an agent for the Chicago Title Company and CATIC.

Alon J. Nager, Esquire
Mr. Nager is a senior associate in our Bankruptcy and General Litigation practice.
Mr. Nager graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 2003, and was a member of the Pittsburgh Journal of Technology Law and Policy. Mr. Nager is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar and the Maryland Bar, and is admitted to the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. Prior to Law School, Mr. Nager graduated with a BA in Philosophy and Psychology from Binghamton University.
Mr. Nager’s expertise includes the areas of bankruptcy, insolvency, debt settlement, creditor rights, nonprofit law, health law and general legal matters. Mr. Nager manages the Bankruptcy Department of Chaifetz & Coyle.

Mr. Sulin is a graduate of the University of Baltimore School of Law and has been practicing law in the State of Maryland since 1997. Over the years, Mr. Sulin has represented clients in a wide variety of areas including foreclosure, bankruptcy, real estate, insurance defense, personal injury, landlord tenant, and condemnation.
Prior to joining Chaifetz and Coyle, PC, Mr. Sulin was a law clerk for The Honorable Eugene Lerner in the Circuit Court for Anne Arundel County, and has worked for several prominent firms at the local level including:

As an attorney with experience in mortgages, real estate brokerage services, and title insurance, Mr. Sulin has developed an expertise in all aspects of residential real estate transactions. Most recently, Mr. Sulin has dedicated much of his time helping homeowners in distress, especially in the areas of foreclosure defense, loan modification, bankruptcy, loss mitigation, short sales and foreclosure mediations.

Chris Toler, Processing Manager
Mr. Toler manages loan modification processing for Chaifetz & Coyle. Mr. Toler is a State-licensed mortgage consultant. Prior to working with Chaifetz & Coyle, Mr. Toler owned and operated Apex, which is a mortgage lender. Mr. Toler has been involved in the mortgage industry for over a decade.
Ms. Coyle is a Paralegal in our Bankruptcy and General Litigation Departments.
Ms. Coyle received her BA in Business Management from Franklin and Marshall College and her MBA in Marketing from The University of Maryland, graduating summa cum laude.
Prior to joining, Ms. Coyle was a marketing executive in the pharmaceutical industry for over 10 years, where she was responsible for variety of drugs and devices in various therapeutic categories. Ms. Coyle also enjoyed an extensive career in management consulting working at various firms, including Coopers & Lybrand.

Ms. Graves is a paralegal/loan modification processor in our Loan Modification Department.
Prior to joining Chaifetz & Coyle, worked with Unilever handling accounting and payroll for 130 clients. Ms. Graves has been involved in financial and accounting work since 2005. Ms. Graves is in the midst of obtaining her Associates Degree in Business Administration from Howard County Community College.
