Government Asks Bank to Modify More Loans

by Administrator 10. July 2009 06:14

The federal government is asking many banks and other large financial institutions to modify many of their mortgage loans.  This is a part of a larger step in trying to restore confidence in the economic  markets.

The economy could suffer in the future if more individuals defaulted on their current loans.  Because of this,  the government is asking banks to act in order to prevent further Americans losing their homes.

If you have a loan that needs to be modified,  now is the time because of the pressure that the government is putting on the lending institutions to renegotiate.  Renegotiation of a mortgage loan may save your house.

If you are facing foreclosure, contact the Maryland mortgage modification attorneys of Chaifetz & Coyle, PC at 410-992-0444.
