Number of Foreclosures Reach Record High

by Administrator 16. July 2009 05:45

The number of foreclosures in the United States is getting worse.  In fact,  the numbers are at a record high.  In the past six months,  nearly 1.5 million properties are believed to have been foreclosed on.

This current means that nearly 1 out of 84 houses in the United States are facing foreclosure issues.

This problem will get worse before it gets better.  Many fear that the continuation of foreclosures will have a ripple effect on the economy and add to the worries of the poorly performing economy.

These foreclosures are likely to continue for many more months.  If you are at the risk of facing foreclosure, take action to help protect your property.

If you are facing foreclosure, contact the Maryland mortgage modification attorneys of Chaifetz & Coyle, PC at 410-992-0444.
