The Obama administration continues to push companies participating in the "Making Home Affordable" mortgage modification program to continue modifying existing mortgages to help prevent many families and individuals from losing their home. 

The program will begin publicly releasing results starting on August 4th.   The administration has stated a goal over nearly half a million modifications to be completed or underway by November 1st.  It will be interesting to see if the administration will be able to achieve this goal and help out many homeowners in need. Once results of the program are released on August 4th,  the successes or short-comings of the program can better be understood.
